88 million lei for the A8 motorway study: the tender is open, the route follows the 'betonka'

The National Road Administration has put out to tender the feasibility study for Moldova's first motorway — 125 kilometres from the Ungheni interchange to the village of Budești, near Chișinău. Estimated value: 87,880,953 lei, excluding VAT. The chosen route follows the M5 road, not R1 through Pârlița and Cornești. The study must be delivered by 30 September 2027.
